The clones vanished as Nick changed in a white plume of smoke, becoming a perfect copy of a classmate. He looked in the mirror with a grin, before turning back and checking off the jutsu from the list. Taking his backpack from the floor, he next attempted a replacement jutsu.

This time he landed it perfectly, and first took the form of the backpack, before quickly replacing himself with it, in a perfect replacement jutsu against an imaginary opponent. As he checked it off the list, he read over the next. He paused a moment, set down the paper, before picking it up again and rechecking. "Thousand years of death... that's a joke right, that seriously can't be real!" But it really was on the list, so with a sigh he tried to practice it.

Though it did give him an idea for a way to counter it, should anyone else try it on him. "Well that's that." With the homework done, he decided to relax for the rest of the night.
